A special celebration was held on 3/6/17 to induct 7 new National Honor Society members at Hinckley-Finlayson High School. All NHS members were also recognized for their participation in service to their school and community
throughout the 2016-17 school year. NHS members strive to uphold the qualities of NHS… Scholarship, Leadership, Service, & Character.
NHS students work hard to maintain a high level of academic achievement. NHS students earn the highest GPAs in the school. They challenge themselves by taking rigorous academic schedules and attaining high marks. But they recognize that Scholarship is much more than just getting straight A’s. Knowledge and intellect empower and provide enormous opportunities, most importantly it comes with responsibility and accepting challenges.
NHS strives to make a difference one penny at a time with the Pennies for Patients drive and every day service in our community and school. NHS is hopefully one of the many training grounds to practice being a courageous leader of character so that when one steps out into the adult world he will be prepared to make a difference and leave his mark.
