Sausage Making 101

class you will learn that making pizza from scratch is not that difficult and you can make delicious pizza

on your own. You will learn how to make a pizza completely from scratch in this class and taste your

Estate Planning Basics

This course will cover the basics of estate planning.  We will discuss how a power of attorney works, why you should have a will and what it should contain.  Also, what a Health Care Directive is and the benefits and downfalls of Trusts.  We will also discuss the basics of probate and why it might not be as bad as eveyone claims.  Discussion of some things you can do during your lifetime to either avoid probate or minimize teh costs and complication of it after you pass.  John will be able to do Q & A from 6:00-6:30 pm with the presentation from 6:30-7:30 pm.

Fun with Dehydrating

Come learn the basics of dehydrating and experience the how-to of dried fruit, fruit roll-ups, granola, dehydrated veggies, winter fresh salsa, crispy nuts, flax crackers and more! All of these goodies are considered “raw” because they are dehydrated at low temps, meaning live enzymes are preserved and therefore foods retain more nutrients. This class will inspire you with new food preservation ideas and meals. Lots of sampling!  Dianna will be demonstrating with the Excalibur Dehydrator, but technique and recipes can be used with any dehydrator or oven.

ServSafe Recertification and Essentials Classes for Food Managers

ServSafe is nationally recognized food safety course. The course meets the Food Manager Certification requirement for the State of MN and WI. Content include the need and benefits of an effective safety plan, how food becomes contaminated, how to control these risks, and protect your business, employment, food and customers. Essential participants will test for a ServSafe Certification.

For those that are 55 yrs and over and have taken the initial class before.  The class will explore changes in laws, the latest vehicle technology, and provide you with easy-to-use defensive driving tips.  In addition, we will explore traffic safety and accident prevention.  The classroom course allows for a 10% reduction in your insurance rate (check with your local insurance agent). Please pre-register at least one week prior. The local insurance office does provide refreshments and door prizes. A minimun of 12 are needed for the class

YOUTH CLASSES

4th Annual Father/Daughter Dance

 

This event is for fathers and daughters of any age.   Daughters are welcome to bring grandfather, uncle or other male role model if their father is unable to attend. Fathers do not miss this opportunity to strengthen your relationship with your daughter! The cost of this event includes: catered dinner, keepsake photo, dancing, flower and of course the lifetime memory. This event is sponsored by Community Education along with a grant from Resource Training & Solutions.
