The process has already begun. We have heard from students, parents, staff, and community members in several listening sessions. There is great community support to maintain our facilities and make them more efficient, better for learning 21st century skills, and giving better service to our community. The school board is using a process to check every aspect of all of the buildings. Utilities, educational uses, community uses, and safety are all being reviewed. All input will focus on the best way to have a great cost effectiveness.
Thanks to everyone who has attended a session so far. If you want to learn more or give any input about our facilities please e-mail me at email@example.com or attend the next "Coffee and Conversation" on June 14th, at 5:00 PM, in room 107 of HFHS. Other topics will include parent involvement for the PTO's and parent boosters.
Also- good luck to the baseball team. The won the 5A sub-section tournament and are now competing to make the state tournament this week. Good luck to Courtney Bloom who is competing in her second state golf tournament this week.
Best wishes to the class of 2016. I have enjoyed working with you and your families. I know you will do great things in the future (many of you are already doing so many great things to support our communities).
