One thing that parents often ask teachers and school staff is:
What is the best way I can know what is going on in the classes my child is taking in school?
Families often want to support their children in building both learning and accountability.
This hour long session will focus on 2 tools we use in school: Schoology and SchoolView.
Schoology is a program that contains current course content. It allows you to stay current on what learning is happening in the classroom. It is in “realtime” and is a proactive approach in helping students. It also includes student grades.
SchoolView is a program that allows you to see midterm and quarter end grades. It is also your portal for testing results, attendance, and lunch accounts. It is a snapshot on items that have already happened.
We will take a look at these two tools and focus on how we can help students with their learning.
