I have been teaching 6th grade at HES since 2015. Before completing my teaching license, I worked at HFHS as a Technology and Meda Paraprofessional. Prior to that, I substitute taught in our district for four years.
I earned my Bachelors Degree from the University of Maryland in 1998 and completed the Graduate Teaching Licensure Program at the College of St. Scholastica in April, 2015. My family and I moved to Hinckley just before the start of the 2006-2007 school year.
I enjoy watching sports, especially Jaguar events. Most of my time away from HES is spent cheering on my own children and their H-F teammates. I also love to read, practice yoga, and travel.
My favorite part of teaching 6th grade is our week-long trip to Wolf Ridge.

Welcome to 6th grade! I am so excited to be teaching at Hinckley Elementary School. I LOVE teaching and LOVE Math!! I have had a lot of teaching experience since graduating and receiving my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from St. Cloud State University in 2008. Most of my experience was in the Braham School District. I was a substitute teacher, cheerleading coach and taught 5th & 6th grade Math! Last year I taught Kindergarten at Onamia Elementary School. My husband and I welcomed our first child in September of 2016.In my free time, I love gardening, 4-wheeling, fishing and spending time with my husband and son!
I hope we have a great year and we learn lots of things together!
