IV. Areas of Responsibility
How money is earned:
- Students sign up to work a shift in the concession stand, after they complete their shift the amount of time worked is recorded in a spreadsheet.
- All expenses and profits for the season are recorded in the spreadsheet.
- At the end of the season, the total profit is broken down into an hourly wage.
- The hourly wage is calculated with the hours a student worked.
How the money is tracked:
- At the end of the season the total amount each student earned is put into the class account spreadsheet, which is broken down by graduating class.
- The student’s money will be kept in this spreadsheet until it is used or they graduate. If a student transfers schools, the money will stay in the account and can be used if they re-enroll at HFHS. If a student does not return to HFHS by the end of their senior year, the money will go into the student council account.

- Fundraising money may not be used for deposits unless the student can pay for the entire trip with fundraising funds.
- If you are paying for an international trip you must pay for the trip out of pocket until your balance reaches the amount you have in your student account.
- For example: If your trip is $500 and you have $300 in your student account, you must pay $200 towards your trip before you can use your student account money.
