PURPOSE
The purpose of this policy is to provide a safe and healthy work environment for the staff and students of the school district.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF POLICY
It is the policy of this school district to involve administration and employees in planning, developing and implementing a health and safety program that complies with all health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices, including indoor air quality management.
PROCEDURES
ENFORCEMENT
Enforcement of this policy is necessary for the goals of the school districts health and safety program to be achieved. Employees shall participate in practice drills and training. Willful violations of safe work practices may result in disciplinary action in accordance with applicable school district policies.

PROCEDURES
- The administration shall conduct or arrange safety inspections and drill. Any identified hazards, unsafe working conditions or unsafe practices will be documented and corrective action will be taken.
- The school district shall train employees and maintain records as required by Federal and State regulations and district policy.
