Jay Kreger
Mr. Kreger began his teaching career at Hinckley-Finlayson High School in 1998.
Mr. Kreger has a Master's Degree in Curriculum Instruction and Design from the University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis, MN. He is a college graduate of St. John's University, Collegeville, MN with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences and minors in History and Athletic Training |
Ben Vickstrom

Mr. Vickstrom is a 2011 graduate of Alexandria, MN. He went to college at Concordia College in Moorhead where he was a sprinter on the Track and Field team. After graduating college in 2015 Mr. Vickstrom started his teaching career in Fargo, ND where he taught and coached for two years. In the summer of 2017 Mr. Vickstrom and his wife, the aptly named Mrs. Vickstrom, moved to back to Minnesota and got a house in North Branch.
Mr. and Mrs. Vickstrom both started teaching social studies in Hinckley for the 2017-2018 school year. Mr. Vickstrom enjoys coaching, camping, and hunting. His favorite part about teaching in Hinckley is the close-knit community of students and staff at the school and teaching next to his wife. |
Alyssa Vickstrom

Mrs. Vickstrom graduated from Cambridge-Isanti High School in 2011 and attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, where she earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Social Studies Education and Spanish. She began her teaching career in fall of 2015 for Moorhead Area Public Schools.
Mrs. Vickstrom married Mr. Vickstrom--also a Social Studies teacher--in December 2016 and moved to North Branch in July 2017. Mrs. Vickstrom enjoys being active outside or at the gym. She is an avid reader and prefers to read Young Adult lit or anything history-related. She loves to bake, watch Netflix with her cat (named Tommy), and travel. She studied abroad in Peru during college and also has visited Spain, Morocco, Australia, and the Bahamas. |
Elsa Kohl

Mrs Kohl is a 1996 graduate of HFHS! After high school she attended St. Cloud State University where she obtained my Bachelor of Science in Social Work. In 2000, Mrs Kohl became a Licensed Social Worker through the MN Board of Social Work. She began her career working as a Family Advocate at Lakes and Pines CAC Head Start in Mora, MN and quickly worked her way into a school setting as a Family Facilitator under the direction of Kanabec County Collaborative Services. In 2008, Mrs Kohl began subbing for Hinckley/Finlayson Schools and hasn't looked back! She currently teaches 7th grade American History and ADSIS Behavior Intervention courses. Mrs Kohl is working to complete my 5-12 Social Studies licensure through the GTL program offered at St. Scholastica, Duluth.
Mrs Kohl is married to Marc and they have three children, Tony, Chad and Ella. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, camping, playing piano and supporting as many Jaguar activities as possible! |
