Patty Sweeny- Speech and Language Pathologist
Ms. Sweeny has been employed in the Hinckley-Finlayson school district since 1986. She works with speech and language disordered students from birth - age 21. She does home-visits with birth to age three year olds, and travels to all three buildings in our school district.
Ms. Sweeny earned her B.S. degree in Communicative Disorders from UW-River Falls. She has post-graduate credits from St. Cloud State University.
Ms. Sweeny has a Dachshund that runs her household and two adult sons. She enjoys watching the local sports teams, taking pictures, making scrapbooks, gardening, backyard bonfires, listening to music, dancing, enjoying time on the water and spending time with family and friends.
Janna Diggan- Emotional Behavior Disorders Teacher
Miss Diggan has been teaching at Hinckley Elementary School since 2013. She has taught kindergarten, 6th Grade and Special Education. Miss Diggan attended Bethel University in St. Paul, MN where she worked with children of many different ages, in various places, including a school in England.
In addition to teaching and learning from her students, Miss Diggan enjoys antique shops & thrift stores, books (Harry Potter is her favorite), walking/hiking, painting, Sharpie markers, traveling, and her dog named East.
